The Record has it the same way as The New York Times that, O'Reilly and Stewart have always been guests on each other's programs since 2001. This is not as interesting as the fact that both of them have rarely agreed on anything except the mutual respect they have for each other.
O'Reilly and Stewart donated half of the net profit
realized from the live internet stream and downloadable video files which were
offered for $4.95 to a number of charitable causes, and the tickets to attend
the event live at the Lisner Auditorium, George Washington University were
announced a day after the debate and sold out.
Users could not watch the event live as a result of
a technical trouble that arouse at the beginning of the debate.
